Ip Engineer
Current• IP/Service Call flows• Develop new end-to-end call flows for Services in the 12 datacenters and in the Cloud Network (D2)• Update/develop call flows for services with the new 5G element details in Existing data centers Requirements:• End-to-end call flows will be based on initial templates• Working with the vendor Brocade/Extreme Networks in monitoring the health and performance of the entire network infrastructure in a single unified platform. Alleviate networking points of friction with increased visibility, and leverage network logs and metrics to speed up troubleshooting across all network and IT devices. • ·Working closely with the vendor Brocade/Extreme Networks in Load Balancing traffic to the Serving Gateway via the MLX and SLX ports on the Brocade 9920 equipment. • Call flows are required per NDC/APN/Service/Function. (12 NDCs* approximately)• Each call flow will be detailed to include data such as specific server names, IP addresses and ports, routers, firewalls, load balancers, packet core elements.• Include Fail over mechanism• Include back haul to other data centers• Engineering Work Requests• Complete work orders to support new routing and Migrations.• Issue work orders to Operational engineering to implement Site specific Method of Procedures (SMOPs) Implement standard D2/5G templates for proposed 5G D2 locations.• Coordinate the implementation of the work orders with PMO and IP Ops, and external partners.• Perform/coordinate connectivity testing during maintenance windows (e.g. security Ops, IP Ops, Data Core OPs, external partner)• Expand on the IPCore engineering outputs such as new call flows/network design for new 5G elements• Lead and coordinate Development and deployment of Production Engineering Plans (PEP) with other engineering groups (Services, Infrastructure, OAM, SecEng, etc.)
