Michael Seiter & Co., INC. is a custom cabinet shop located in Heber City, UT. Although residential cabinetry has been pursued, Michael Seiter & Co., Inc mainly specializes in commercial millwork (trim) and casework (cabinets and wood furniture). My duties are not limited to, but include:• Creating submittals for upcoming projects. This task outlines all materials that will be needed under the following sections; Casework (cabinets, furniture, and countertops), Materials to be used, Hardware, Trim, Window Sills, Benches, Plastic Laminate for Countertops, Finishing System (type of stain and finish for cabinets), Hardware Cut-Lists, Drawings and Cut-throughs of materials to be provided. This task also uses Cabinet Vision to create the layout of the job and design each required cabinet. This also allows me to make changes as needed before we send it to the CNC to be cut out and put into production. • Creating red-lines so the on-site superintendent can take field measurements if the job is over an hour and half away or so I can take the field measurements if the job is within an hour and half drive• Communicating with the project manager or on-site superintendent for project schedule updates, change order information, and verifying current field conditions • Creating the take-off material so the job can go into production • Scheduling delivery of material • Shipping of finished material (loading and unloading as well as scheduling transportation)

As the lead night-shift supervisor, I handle multiple responsibilities that require precise task management to maintain peek production and performance. Such responsibilities include time management and organization that keeps nightly work flowing smoothly. I do this by completing tasks through priorities first along with all or as much of the nightly work as possible while accommodating for outfitter attendance, machinery availability, meetings, and outfitter skills training. I balance operation numbers by focusing on the outfitters through task management, skills training, communicating team and individual performance levels, goal setting and follow through along with team and individual recognition. My nightly duties include pre-shift meetings to communicate issues, priorities, and nightly work load to be accomplished, organization and follow through of a nightly strategy, and adaptation of nightly strategies to changing variables. Such variables include machinery availability, outfitter attendance of both full and part time outfitters along with the type of task and product released. I also perform other nightly duties such as maintaining outfitter retention, facilitating new-hire orientation, utilization of queries, spreadsheets, and Work Management processes, systematically opening and closing trailer loads as well as creating the shipment BOL's, machinery battery changes, machinery and safety incident investigations, attendance tracking, time adjustments, record keeping, disciplinary actions, E-Screen drug and alcohol testing, as well as coordination and balancing of the nightly work load.

This served as my Internship. The Round Robin, owned by John Whittle, is a family oriented bar. Mr. whittle has never let anybody else work there without his supervision and there has only been two people who helped him during special occasions such as Fall Festival, Harvest, and Sturgis. I managed the Round Robin for 9 weeks while John Whittle was in California undergoing surgery due to side affects of throat cancer he narrowly defeated in 1998. I took over all of his duties except for accounting and ballancing financials. Such duties included taking orders, cooking, serving customers and collecting ticket totals along with upkeep and maintenance of facilities and inventory.
