Director of Solution Engineering with 20+ years of data warehousing customer solution delivery. In my current position, on Teradata’s Retail, Travel, Transportation, Hospitality and Consumer Packaged Goods (RHTTC) Team, I am responsible for the amazing team of Solution Architects/Engineers and delivering solutions that utilize on-prem, cloud, and data science solutions across multiple tools, vendors, and products.Solutions incorporate BI tools, data warehouse and data lake platforms, data design, ETL, security, and performance. This role specializes in Tableau, Teradata, Hadoop, Microsoft Azure public clouds, Teradata private cloud, AI, and ML data science initiatives across customers and industries. It involves a broad range of skills including communications with C-Level executives, working with business users, IT professionals, architects, and Engineers, and creating tools and services designed to identify issues, monitor their progress, and measure their success. The real-world experience necessary for this role evolved from supporting over 60 customers in my career. Many of these are among the largest data warehousing customers in existence, including Walmart, Target, The Home Depot, Apple, Ebay, Best Buy, Sears, Disney, and McDonald’s.
