I am strong Manager with extensive retail knowledge and experience. For nearly a decade I held the role of Operations Advisor BWG as Operations Advisor, overseeing 30 Spar, Spar Express and Eurospar stores with an overall value of €30 million between them This role saw me responsible for driving best practice across the stores in all areas from standards, to pushing sales and Margins to Cost and P&L control to staff management. I started my career with Dunnes where I worked my way up the ranks from Trainee Manager to Department Manager and onto Store Manager. With Dunnes I ran stores turning over apx €500k per week and had staff teams of over 250 under me. This role with Dunnes saw me accountable for all aspects of running the store from Standards, sales, staff management, cost controls and compliance. I left Dunnes to progress onto my role with BWG in 2006. After nine years I left BWG in 2013.I took up a role as store Manager with Aldi in their Parnell Street Store.
