Provide supervision of all children, using good group management techniques. Provide a safe environment in the childcare center for elementary school children. Establish positive interpersonal relations among all individuals involved in the program, (i.e., children, parents, school personnel, and EACFK staff). Assist in setting up learning centers, preparing snack and supervising physical activities in the gym, on the playscape and on the playing field. Keep center neat and orderly both at the start and end of the day. Help plan, prepare and direct EACFK curriculum. Follow Extend-A-care for Kids’ policies and procedures, including those for handling emergencies and discipline. Pre-school teachers must have experience working with pre-school age children (2-5 years preferred).
