I have been in sales since graduating college in 1998. In my current role, my objective Is growing a book of business using a consultative selling approach and targeting select companies that see the value in superior service and/or are interested in being environmentally responsible. These types of companies are generally less price sensitive, allowing for higher margins. Cold calling/prospecting with the help of Salesforce.com, setting appointments, negotiating contracts, working closely with the sales team, management and operations are all in a typical day. I have been successful in sales by building a foundation of morals and values, overlaid with a strong work ethic, learned selling skills, and a willingness to always learn a better way. I was awarded Winners Circle, Silver Tier in both 2013 and 2014. In 2015, I finished 215% to my revenue goal, #8 of 300+ reps. Awarded Winners Circle trip. I am interested in one day stepping into a sales management role. I have completed two leadership courses and have started the journey of educating myself on subjects related to management and team building. A 2016 goal is to complete 4 books and 2 more seminars related to these subjects. When the proper opportunity arises, I will take a personal interest in the professional and personal development of each member on my team. I feel if the team is supported properly, the financial goals will be reflected by the cohesion of a well-lead and properly motivated team.On the personal side, I enjoy motorcycles, most outdoor activities and spending as much time as possible with my wife and children.Continued Success!
