Countywide Learning and Development Coordination.• Developing a first of it’s kind training master list to help coordinate, plan, and track training across teams, divisions, departments, and the whole County. Public Records Management. • Manage public records for Human Resources and Risk Management. Program Manager for the countywide Ethics Matters Hotline. • My responsibilities include the day-to-day management of incoming cases, making sure they get investigated in a timely manner, and providing appropriate feedback to those who reported a concern or allegation. • I promote awareness of the hotline by making sure that physical posters are on display in all County buildings and that information can easily be found on the County’s internal and external webpages. Project Manager for the County’s first ever Workforce and Succession Planning Policy and Procedure, currently being reviewed by leadership. • I have helped move this project forward by completing a data analysis and being part of a presentation to the County’s Board of Commissioners on the last five years of all staff hires, promotions, resignations, and dismissals. The analysis highlighted disparities for non-white employees across the County and provides a benchmark for future data to be measured against. Project Manager for the County’s internal response team to the COVID-19 pandemic.• I directed a team of experts and key staff from across the County to develop working guidelines based on the latest information on how COVID-19 spread from Federal and State health agencies and emergency policy decisions from Washington County leadership.Project Manager for the County’s response to Oregon Sente Bill 1049, which made changes to the PERs retirement system.• Washington County decided to allow staff to retire from PERs but come back to Washington County and work full time for up to five years. I managed the work group from Human Resources and Finance that implemented this decision.
