Apprenticeship Manager & Lead Instructor
CurrentServes as a member of the WECA's Apprenticeship Program management team for the administration, operation, and instruction of the Commercial/Residential and Low Voltage Programs, Curriculum Development and Maintenance for Arizona.* Coordinate classroom usage, storage, facility start-up/shut-down, maintenance and repair and manage vendor contractors* Interview, hire, and train new instructors while consistently providing mentoring and support* Participate in community outreach on behalf of apprenticeship program as requested* Responsible for recruiting and workforce development activities in the area served by the facility for qualified applicants in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies* Encourage and promote relationships with industry partners and with governmental and economic agencies* Instruct all program years applicable to the site maintaining student records and operating within a Learning Management System* Indenture, test, and qualify all new apprentices and coordinate with Operations* Continuously interact with training director and CEO* Attend board of director meetings and monthly teacher meetings regarding curriculum, new trade programs, and interpersonal relations giving advice as needed* Provide input to annual budget forecasts* Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to provide videos and content for social media and press releases* Assisted in expansion of company into Arizona
