About Keith Soal

My current work at DLR is focused on modal analysis of aircraft during Ground Vibration Testing (GVT), Taxi Vibration Testing (TVT) and in flight testing for the purpose of aircraft prototype certification and health monitoring. I work in a highly specialized multidisciplinary team, which has among other notable achievements, performed the GVT of the new Beluga XL for Airbus in Toulouse in 2018. A main focus of my current work involves the development of fast online algorithms, including state-of-the-art techniques from Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, for real time in flight flutter analysis.
