I specialize in complex criminal litigation, DUI litigation and administrative licensing issues. Having worked both for the state and in private practice, I am an expert in DUI litigation. In 2012, I was voted Attorney of the Year for the Sacramento County Indigent Panel. In 2014, I was honored as Attorney of the Year by the Wiley Manuel Bar Association of Sacramento. I am known for my successful verdicts in drug and sex cases. In 2012 alone I earned acquittals in two cases where my client faced life sentences. Over my 20 years in practice, I have tried more than 120 cases to verdict. I successfully argued before the Third District Court of Appeals that my client's right to a fair trial trumped a juror's privacy rights in a case where a juror posted commentary on a trial during that trial.I handle high-profile cases.
