LTL Carrier August 2002 ­ March 2011Line haul Dispatcher: ­ The main focus as an LTL carrier is to ensure all cut times for the Florida and Georgia Region and beyond (Solo and Team Bids). Currently our most important issue is that of the timely departures of our HUB Freight (One or Two Day Service guarantees, LCV runs (Turnpike Doubles--48's) to PBC, HWO and MIA and GQS and Almost Air Shipments). Other responsibilities includes setting up BID runs, payroll, forecasting and projecting extra runs, assigning them and the proper placarding of Haz-Mat material on all Outbound loads. (25 to 85 Dispatches/Arrivals per night). City Dispatcher--2002 to 2004.!!!!!!!

City/Line haul Dispatcher: ­ Our main focus as an Intermodal Carrier was that of picking up public/private containers, trailers from the CSX and Norfolk Southern ramps to deliver to our customers in a timely fashion. The 25 drivers working with me in ORL/TPA delivered or dropped containers both locally/line haul in Florida and Georgia. Setting appointments, faxing accessorial charges and providing proof of delivery (Pod's) was a daily responsibility as well. The line haul runs provided us with the opportunity for backhauls depending on the customer needs or requests. *Company consolidated all Business Operations to Miami in April 2002!!!

Responsibilities and obligations included that of Cost Control, Line haul Dispatch, Assist in City Dispatch (Daily), Freight Handling/Safety. On-time schedules, Equipment Maintenance, Customer Service, Operations Training and Employee Annual Reviews/Questionnaires. The primary assignment on a normal day was that of "Daily Cut Times" for our City and Line haul Departures which insured overnight/quality service. Areas of supervision: Office Personnel(3), Line haul Drivers(12-20), Dock Associates(5-7) and City Drivers(10-15) *Courses sponsored by SAIA Motor Freight: `Performance Management', `Quality Customer Relations'
