Keith Vogel is a Senior Technical Engineering Advisor for INEOS Oxide, supporting the Ethylene Oxide and Derivatives businesses and their operating plant in Bayport, TX. He has previously held various technical and management positions supporting EO&D technologies for LyondellBasell, Equistar, Oxychem, Cain Chemical, ICI Americas, and Celanese for over 35 years. He has also been a corporate resource for oxygen safety in other technologies including propylene oxide, vinyl acetate monomer, and partial oxidation. He holds a BSChE degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Keith is a long-standing member of the American Chemistry Council’s Ethylene Oxide Safety Task Group and has in the past served as Vice Chair of the Task Group and Chair of the workgroup that developed an Ethylene Oxide User’s Manual and website. He is currently Chairman of the EO Safety Task Group. Keith was recently presented a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Global Ethylene Oxide Technical Exchange Meeting (GEOTEM) in Lisbon, Portugal for his "contributions to enhance the Ethylene Oxide Industry."
