• Managed an Agile Bioinformatics team tasked with analyzing and communicating Helix’s Exome+ sequencing data for regulatory submissions, external collaborations, internal docs, and marketing communications with stakeholders including: Production Lab, BD, QA, Engineering, and external partners.• Product Manager and Bioinformatic Scientist for a submitted federal regulatory application for the delivery of clinical interpretations using genomic sequencing data.• Led scientific team to build, test, and integrate ~100 different Polygenic Risk Scores (PRS) with the Helix platform, resulting in a product critical for Helix's customer recruitment and engagement.• Publicly represented Helix and presented scientific findings via talks, posters, and publications, including a platform presentation at ASHG 2019: "Applying confidence intervals to clinical polygenic risk scores in 60,000 Exome+ sequenced individuals".

• Created an end-to-end software/API integration test used for every application on Helix’s platform. Caught and fixed numerous critical bugs that would have otherwise resulted in incorrect interpretation of customer data.• Inventor on 2 patents for a novel application experience that originated from a four-person hackathon team for a project in addition to our normal work roles.• Authored and coordinated input for multiple versions of Helix's Performance Whitepapers.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team collaborating with 6 labs to study DNA methylation in autistic brain and culture samples, resulting in 2 first author publications.• Developed an open-source pipeline with clinically impactful results. Also trained over a dozen undergraduate, graduate, post-doctorial and senior scientist researchers in Bioinformatics.

• Ordered and budgeted money for grants worth over $500,000.• Managed, scheduled, and trained seven undergraduate researchers in a wide variety of technical skills, including PCR, electrophoresis, and bioinformatics. • Converted old lab computers to Linux boxes that were able to handle NGS experiments, saving the lab over $10,000 in new computer costs.

• Started out by doing all of the lab maintenance tasks necessary to keep a wet lab running. • Created a genomic analysis pipeline for Pfizer's TALEN edited CAR-T therapy that was used in their FDA submission and subsequent clearance. The pipeline was implemented using Python, SQL, R, Google cloud computing, and large open source projects (3rd party software).
