A System safety engineer supporting the Avionics Integrated Products Team with Commercial/Military Flight Displays, including walking work such as configuration control board approvals, safety risk analyses, hardware/software reviews, and other safety related items from program.

Currently working for the CRS (Commercial Resupply Services) as a system safety engineering ensuring that items (hardware/software) are properly mitigated through System safety practices before sent out to space via ISS

(SPACE SYSTEMS SECTOR) (NASA) Provides system safety analyses for Habitation and Logistics Outpost, and Human Exploration and Operation Programs which includes modules/habitats and products for Lunar Missions. Including CBCS focal point or Computer Based Control Systems.

System Engineer supporting the GBSD program in the Operations, Command/Control (OC2) group. Supporting and developing Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts (DoDaf & SysML) and techniques utilizing programs such as DOORS, CAMEO, etc. while following the AGILE process.

As a System Safety Engineer, I am responsible for the C-RAM and the GMD program. While maintaining several hazards with each program, I am also heavily involved with drawing reviews and requirements. Subsystem Hazard Analysis and The Safety Assessment Report are just a few responsibilities that I have with each program.In addition, to Range Safety and related hazards from a Network Test Equipment persepective!

As a System Safety Engineer my responsibilities are to identify and eliminate safety hazards associated with all development activities throughout the entire program/product lifecycle in support of the Flight Termination System & the Day of Launch I-Load Update (DOLILU) (Software), NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) development effort. Ensure that corrective measures and risks meet acceptable safety standards for human interaction.Planning documents and developing safety engineering approach to meet customer, NASA, and other design/hardware/software & even Range Safety requirements.Performing complex Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) ,Hazard Assessments (HAs), SLS and ESI Trees.Be capable to utilize engineering analysis of systems to identify and eliminate safety hazards, integrated hazards analysis, the systematic application of safety policies to the design of NASA human-rated hardware, and assistance in the overall implementation of safety practices for systems/subsystems.
