Assisting PTW Manager.Coordinating Scheduled activities and ensuring they are prepared in advance by the PTW team.Attending meetings as the PTW department representative and giving input for the department.Reviewing Site Process and procedures related to PTW activities and Training the PTW team and Work Supervisors.Reviewing Blocking modifications and authorizing such modifications.Reviewing any Special Case activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and ensuring that the activities can be performed safely.Close coordination and cooperation with the Plant Status Management team to ensure resolution of any conflicting activities.Stand in as PTW manager during their absence.

Main Responsibilities:- Work Order and Test Permit Technical Clarification, Approval, Release, Suspension, Extension and Closure.- Blocking (Isolation) Creation, Technical Clarification, Approval, Release, Suspension, and Closure.- System draining and filling procedure writing and clarification.- Plant status management and maintenance schedule control, prior to release of blocking, test permit and work order release.- Trained and skilled in the use of CMS software for PTW and Operational application.- Trained and Authorised to perform operation and switching on Mechanical components and electrical switchgear (<10kV)- Plant system inspections and walkdowns to ensure readiness to be handed over for temporary operation.Other responsibilities:- First Aid- Shift Worker

Main Responsibilities:- Shift worker.- Performing PTW isolations and removal of Isolations on plant components and apparatus. - Trained and Authorised to perform operation and switching on Mechanical components and electrical switchgear (<10kV)- Plant system inspections and walkdowns to ensure readiness to be handed over for temporary operation. - Fault finding on Plant systems.- Assisting Commissioning Engineers in aligning the plant systems to allow for commissioning testing.Other responsibilities:- First Aid- Trained on the use of CMS for PTW system.- Compiling lists of required Plant system checks, cross referencing to various programs and procedures to ensure validity and compliance.

Main responsibilities:- Shift Worker.- Monitoring, inspecting, fault finding and controlling on the various process systems on the plant.- Plant systems include: High pressure water and steam, gas, ventilation, oil/hydraulic, boilers, diesel engine generators, water treatment, radiation monitoring, sampling and fire suppression systems.- Components I have worked with include: Pumps, fans, valves, dampers, electrical breakers and contactors (<6.6kV), transformers, demineralisers, degassers, evaporators, deluge systems, control circuitry and interfacing. - Authorised Person and Authorised Operator of Permit to Work system:- Ensuring compliance of Permit to Work Applications and correct documentation in place.- Determining Isolation points for Permit to Work.- Aligning Plant systems to ensure they are safe to work on. This included De-energising, draining, diverting, shutting down and de-pressurising systems.- Applying and revoking Permit to Work lock-out/tag-out system on Plant components and apparatus.- Reviewing, Applying and revoking Sanction for Test permits, and assisting/coordinating with maintenance departments during testing of Plant systems and components after maintenance.- Authorised Operator on high-voltage(<6.6kV) Regulations allowing HV Permit to Work issuing.- Dedicated Permit to Work team member during 2 Refuelling Outages.- Testing of Plant systems on a routine basis.- Starting up and shutting down of systems as required by routine schedule or for maintenance.- Control room operator, using DCS, PLC, RDU and other controllers for the Waste Treatment Plant.- Meticulous log-keeping for shift handover purposes and for trending.- Authorised to Operate on Outside/Auxiliary Plant, Nuclear Auxiliary Building (Primary Systems), Waste Treatment Plant and Turbine Hall (Secondary Systems).- Part of the Fire and Rescue team, responding to all medical and fire emergencies during shift.

Ensured 25 Member Shift and relevant Plant area adhered to Occupational Health & Safety Act and other Local Procedures and Processes to ensure the Health and Safety of members of the Shift and personnel working in the relevant area.
