  PROFILE OF BUSINESS EXPERIENCEOriginally I had a successful 13 year career in Sales Management and Marketing in the printing industry.Was CEO for an organisation focused on improving the economic and tourism development of Southland working closely with the NZ Tourism Association and Tourism Minister, resulting in a substantial increase in tourist numbers into Southland and the establishment of an Economic Development Unit.For thirteen years I was Marketing Manager then Business Development Manager for the New Zealand Institute of Management including the establishment of a senior management training programme in Fiji.Post earthquakes I undertook a limited term contract working with an agricultural focused engineering company setting up a three year Strategic Plan and Business Development Plan to ensure the company capitalised on potential market opportunities.
