Keith joins JBT Energy as a qualified instrument technician who has migrated his skills to engineering sales early on in his career. His experience spans commodity selling, integral to the business 'bread and butter' value, through to small and more complex system sales, intuitively implemented through specialist partner companies. He holds a high regard for the potential value-add that enterprise-wide solution based selling brings to customers and business alike. After my 8 year tenure at Protea I had extended my then ten year sales experience to multiple disciplines of measurement and instrumentation to include all level, flow, pressure, temperature, humidity, vibration, ph, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, infra red and thermal imaging, moisture detection, gas analyzers and more. In control, I extended my PID discreet control experience as product manager to multi loop and finally distributed control; PLC and SCADA in regulated sectors such as pharmaceutical and aerospace. I received multiple annual achievement awards over this period meeting sales targets. Other product knowledge also included SIEMENS S7 PLC sold to the mining sector where WINCC was integrated with a key customer’s energy management software. I enjoyed flexibility from management to pursue most opportunities and and regularly added value by realizing them.
