Working closely with the CEO, the board and the Senior Management team on the long-term strategic direction of the business. Highly involved in primary Private Equity exit, including developing financial model, due diligence, liaising with corporate advisers from buy and sell side, and post deal new group structure creation.Have developed, grown and mentored finance team within a high growth business(25% CAGR)

• Key member of the Senior Management team, attending the monthly Management Team meetings, providing the Chairman / MD and Senior Management with finance updates, and a review of the Management Accounts.• Key business contact with our Auditors, and manage the audit process from the initial planning stage, right through to completion• Co-ordinate and produce the annual budgeting process, and produce quarterly re-forecasts, working closely with the departmental managers and Managing Director • Management of four direct reports, providing objective settings, mentoring, and regular staff reviews• Produce monthly Tour Operations Management Accounts and Balance Sheet Reconciliations, with relevant commentary• Work closely with non-financial staff to provide support and improve understanding of the financial aspects of their respective areas• Produce a monthly cashflow forecast for the Chairman / MD of the company, and track the daily cashflow movements, providing control of the working capital of the business• Produce monthly and weekly Group Sales & margin analysis for Tour Operations, identifying problem areas and highlighting this to the Management Team• Involved in Group Foreign Exchange strategies, providing currency exposure analysis at Director Level on a weekly basis• Arrange all Group investment in the currency market, investigating the most suitable and cost-effective options available• Produce annual TOMS calculation• Prepare the monthly payroll file, and submit to our Payroll bureau• Produce monthly and annual returns that are required by regulatory bodies, such as the CAA & ABTA• Produce VAT quarterly returns and annual P11d’s for HMRC

• Managed a team of four FTE’s within the Management and Financial Reporting area, ensuring the delivery of high standard service to the client• Key involvement in Ad Hoc financial projects such as the relocation of My Travel companies to Peterborough, where I helped manage and monitor the Knowledge Transfer of activities to off-shore and on-shore functions• Create Financial Reporting packs and commentaries for various Tour Operator companies within Service Level Agreement deadlines• Ensure all Balance Sheet reconciliation’s assigned to the TCTO team are reviewed within Service Level Agreement deadlines• Perform the monthly Management to Financial Profit reconciliation in Hyperion• Develop working relationships with the client to improve the accuracy of source information & accounting / Financial Reporting requirements• Produce Marketing & Brochure actual versus budget reports for Director of Publishing, with monthly meetings to discuss variances• Provide support to the off-shore Business Support function in India in respect of client query resolution
