Working with the Store Planner, I am responsible for selecting, receiving, placing, and setting all furniture, accessories, and lighting for the stores. I also do the prepping and painting of permanent and temporary walls, shop and prop all settings, and do top of bed as well fixture updates and installations.

As an experienced artist and designer fluent in a wide range of styles, I currently do freelance illustration and concept design for both personal and professional clients.

As the visual department for the store, I am responsible for mannequin styling, and visual presentations for virtually all the Men’s, Women’s, Kids, Intimates, Activewear, Accessories, and Fine Jewelry departments; as well as branding and signing throughout the entire store. All this while maintaining friendly and helpful interaction with customers.

Visual ( and Window) Display: Macy's Union SquareAs Assistant Visual Manager I would conceptualize, design, and evaluate for budget and material effectiveness, ease of installation and conformity with corporate identity and standards over 250 windows each year. I’d then work with and supervise the team to plan, layout, construct, paint, install, light.

Created and presented concept for selection by the board of the City of Miami, then, submitted scale mock-up for final approval; after which actual elements were built, cast (in bronze), and finally attached to a marble kiosk, at the monument site.

Through analysis of the script, preliminary sketches and renderings were made and submitted to the director and other areas of design; once these set designs were approved, shop drawings and reference material were done and supplied to the shop; after several shop visits and tech rehearsals a final look for each show was achieved.

As Carpenter I would build/load-in/strike the sets. As Painter I would prep and prime scenery, add texture(s)/detailing, paint, varnish, age/finish. I would also be responsible for mixing/matching colors, training/supervising overhires and assistants, and the routine maintenance of shop and tools.
