As a Senior Funding Manager and lead sales trainer. I sold financing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, with yearly revenues ranging from $250,000 to 20 million. I developed the organization’s phone sales strategy and process – including the phone script and objection rebuttals. I hired, trained, and led a team of 15 telemarketers. First I taught them to cold call and grab the business owner’s attention. Then how to handle objections and ask the right questions to find and identify a need in the potential buyer. Once mastered, we then focused on creative and consistent follow-up and how to present and pitch a funding approval option to the business owner making a compelling and logical case as to why they should accept the deal. And finally how to close the deal and bring in the commissions. When I started at Dynamic we were doing $750,000 a month in funded deals. My efforts led to the company’s explosive growth to over 5 million dollars a month in funded deals.

I led the Amex OPEN membership rewards Sales team of 20 people. While there, my south Florida team performed amongst the best in the country across all Amex channels, achieving an average of 65% year over year in growth. I trained my team to approach every Amex Business Open cardmember from a consultative perspective – to better understand their business model, cash flow needs, and financial challenges. Once we fully understood a cardmember's needs we successfully sold them the best enterprise solution, leading to better account performance for cardmembers and increased margin for my Amex account. The key to my team’s success is that I made sure everyone understood that organizations vary and so do their needs. It is crucial to have a deep understanding of their business model and consumers, which allows us to see potential enterprise solutions that will help them increase revenue and improve cash flow.
