I have lived in New York, London, and New Zealand, traveling extensively and gaining firsthand experience with many of the most modern cities and transportation systems in the world. I obtained my Master of Business Administration at the University of Portland with an emphasis in transportation and technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business at Oregon State University.As the chair and founder of Shelter Portland, board member for Word is Bond, as well as a member of the Oregon State University Business School Dean’s Council of Excellence Advisory Committee, I am privileged to apply my innovation-driven approach to helping these organizations transform society and lives.As an executive committee member of the US High Speed Rail Coalition and board member of the International Road Federation, I work with city, state, federal, and international officials to advance technology to reduce congestion and to put the “RAPID” back in rapid transit.I live with my wife Katherine and children, Lilianna and Noah, in beautiful Northeast Portland.
