I completed my first aviation book "Red Arrows in camera"​, which was published at the beginning of July 2012. With all the problems suffered by the Reds in 2011 and 2012, it was a difficult time to research and write about them but I feel sure the book does the Team justice. The book has been published to some great reviews and has been on BBC and ITV, as well as in most of the top UK Daily newspapers. My second aviation book, titled "RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight in camera"​ was published in July 2013 to critical acclaim - as well as numerous TV and national daily newspapers. My third book titled "Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Operations Manual"​ has just been published and as of today was Number 1 in the Amazon best-selling listing in the aviation history category. I sincerely hope you all like it.The fourth book in the series is the 'Avro Shackleton Manual'​ which was published in September 2015.The next title in the series 'Vickers/BAC VC-10 Manual' was published in October 2016.The latest book in the series, Blackburn/BAe Buccaneer Manual was published in July 2018.Another book in the Haynes Manual series now awaits!

I have recently completed my first two titles for Pen & Sword Books Limited with "RAF in Camera: 1950s"​ and "RAF in Camera 1960s"​.Both have been published to critical acclaim.In March 2018, RAF in camera: 1970s was published and, once again, has been very well received! At 390 pages and containing more than 450 images, it certainly is a big book!!I am now turning my attention to a new volume in the series, which will be a little different from the first three volumes, but nevertheless will be very interesting to both research and write!

I was offered a series of six books in a new series titled "A pictorial History". The first, "RAF Transport Command - a pictorial history" was published late in 2017. The next, "Royal Flying - a pictorial history" was published in February 2018.The latest, RAF in 100 Pictures, celebrating the RAF's Centenary, was published in July 2018.The next in the series will be a look at the history of air-to-air refuelling in the RAF; a subject very close to my heart so I am looking forward to researching and writing it. After completing a Teacher Training course, I started teaching Digital Photography at Abbey College, Ramsey. It is a great opportunity to introduce students to the wonderful world of photography and all it has to offer. As for job satisfaction, it ranks up there with the very best - especially when I see the results some of the students are able to achieve in just a few weeks!
