About Keith Green, Apr

Dreaming up big ideas- ones that drive earned media, fuel creative content and engage a brand's target audience while driving measurable results- is my specialty. I have a proven track record of selling ideas, services and concepts in the sports, entertainment, nonprofit and B2B worlds. My experience spans executive positions at the Philadelphia 76ers, Richmond Raceway, Guinness World Records and with my own consultancy, Emerald Owl Communications. Specifically, my skills include media relations, creating and pitching strategic PR campaigns, B2B marketing, experiential marketing, business development, sponsorship activation, social media management and writing and storytelling. I have also spread my "big idea" philosophy to the nonprofit world. In 2015, I formed the Autism MVP Foundation, a non-profit that takes a unique approach to helping make the world a better place: our mission is to increase the number of autism-focused educators and therapists by providing scholarships to graduate students who are pursuing careers that will improve social, educational and daily life skill outcomes for children and adults with autism. I also have a love for sharing ideas and my experience with my students through adjunct teaching roles, and currently in my position at Montclair State University where I have helped more than 100 students get internships and jobs.

In addition to being part of a global leadership team charged with creating record-focused PR campaigns for our clients, I oversaw the following key areas out of the company’s New York City office:1. B2B Communications & Partnerships. I was the B2B face of our N. America office and drove awareness for that side of our brand by responding to media requests, authoring thought leadership pieces and by making presentations and key note speeches at various MarComm conferences nationwide. I also organized and drove our B2B partnerships that educated our target audiences about our unique business services. 2. Commercial sales surrounding consulting, adjudication, digital licensing and traditional PR campaigns and services to companies of all types and sizes, including Fortune 500 brands, non-profits and educational institutions. Led the N. America commercial team to record growth over a three year period. Those companies worked with us to advance their business objectives by harnessing the power of record breaking. For example, our clients will have one of our official Guinness World Records judges (we call them "adjudicators") attend a record attempt, and if successful, the judge will instantly verify a new record title. This helps drive publicity, brand building and social engagement. Our clients also utilize our marks (name and logos) to promote their record attempts, and that can come in many forms such as promotional videos, social platforms, websites, TV commercials, printed collateral and other digital communication.
