Various leadership and staff positions as an Army Reserve officer from 2010 until present. My current role is a Senior Management Consultant. Previous roles include Director of Operations (Brigade S3), Reserve Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (REPLO), Senior Program Manager (Group S4), and Management Consultant.I served on reserve active duty orders from 2012-2013 as a Project Manager (Exercise Project Officer), from 2014-2016 as an Emergency Response Planner, and from 2021-2022 as the Acting Deputy Defense Coordinating Officer for Operation Allies Welcome, Task Force McCoy.

I work on short to medium-term accounting contracts. I have experience with GL reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project billing. I also perform audit preparation, process improvement projects, complex reconciliation projects, and preparing data for migration to ERPs and cloud-based applications.

I began by documenting historical business processes and learning Xcel’s customization of SAP in preparation for my business unit’s go-live six months later. During and following the go-live, I led more than fifteen business-unit and corporate-wide cross-functional teams to investigate issues ranging from emergency goods and services procurement policies to improving the resiliency of grid operations during a loss of control systems. Some of the focus areas of teams I led or participated in included root cause analysis, business needs assessments, process development and documentation, SAP enhancements, corporate policy development, and master data management.

I served as an active duty infantry officer, beginning as a combined-arms Platoon Leader in Iraq, then a mechanized infantry company Executive Officer, and finally as an Assistant Operations Officer during a second deployment. I led several major planning efforts during both training and combat operations, including the relocation of over 600 people and 250 pieces of equipment from one forward operating base to another halfway through a combat deployment and the first of a kind five-month field training and gunnery exercise.
