As Technical Director of EWS I work with our clients to design and develop processes, structures, products, and environments that are cost-saving, cost-effective, safe, and compliant.

As Mayor of New Vienna I was responsible for all aspects of city management including:- Water management- Wastewater management- Police department- Street department- Leading the entire village team including leadership team

As Director of the Utility Department, I had the privilege of protecting citizens, the public and constituents’ tax dollars while providing commodities: safe drinking water and wastewater treatment systems that ranged from small to large community populations. During this time, my achievements included:- Designed and had built a $32M wastewater plant that will support population growth until 2025 - Helped small communities secure over $6M in grants to fund infrastructure improvements- Launched a multitude of successful efforts to reduce expenditures and drive returns on investments- Achieved an overall cost saving of 15% on the utility department's budgetMy key responsibilities included:- Oversee the operation of a Class IV wastewater reclamation plant, including collections- Oversee the stormwater utility, which includes construction projects and maintenance of the system- Write, submit, and administer grants- Complete all forms required by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA)- Present complex information in a concise and understandable format- Established new Utility rules and regulations that improve operations- Authored various Utility documents, e.g. emergency plans, employee guidelines and Utility Director’s Handbook, snowplow policy

- Managed a 7MGD Class III Water Plant and a Class IV Water Reclamation Plant- Completed all forms required by the OEPA- Established testing programs required by the OEPA- Assisted with Budget processes

In this role, I instructed water and wastewater facility operators and staff in how to operate and maintain their facilities along with assisting them to pass their OEPA Certification Tests.

- Implemented 5‐year Capital Improvement plans for New Vienna and the Village of Frankfurt- Supervised Village staff of professional administrative and operational employees- Successfully applied for and received over $1,600,000 in grants for various infrastructure upgrades- Assisted with Budget processes
