Keith B. Keith was unanimously appointed to the Juvenile Court bench by the Superior Court Judges of the Augusta Judicial Circuit. He presides over juvenile delinquency trials, traffic offenses, and truancy hearings. In addition, Keith makes custody determinations based upon the best interest of the child and rules on evidentiary pretrial motions. He orders psychological evaluations, counseling sessions, and other alternative sentencing methods, when appropriate. Keith has served as Chief Judge until the formation of the Columbia Judicial Circuit in 2021.

Keith has advised law enforcement officers on various criminal proceedings and procedure and conducted extensive legal research using independent judgment, discretion, and initiative.
