My work regularly makes a positive internal impact (culturally and structurally), as well as externally (improving the customer’s overall experience). I’m a visionary executive and strategic thinker who can develop, spearhead, implement and manage innovative projects that revolutionize people and businesses.I designed a cybersecurity risk management framework to benefit digital financial services in the developing world. The framework will aid people who, due to discrimination (such as gender, race, income, etc.), would not otherwise have access to financial services in a safe and secure manner. This tremendously rewarding work has provided me the opportunity to form relationships with key leaders of international organizations.I have led a small startup's technology and product strategy, achieving great success and attaining large international enterprise clients.Career Highlights Include:• Successfully obtained GDPR attestation, SOC2 and ISO27001:2002 certification for SessionGuardian, while developing a leading-edge identity platform.• Appointed US CIO for Scotiabank to build a technology organization from the ground up. I defined, hired and supervised a team of more than 120 staff in less than 18 months in order to satisfy federal and state regulatory legislation. My team successfully provided the necessary governance, technology and cybersecurity risk management and operational/project delivery framework to fulfill all regulatory requirements. o Created the foundation for the first U.S. technology risk assessment and cyber risk register. These programs and accomplishments were regularly praised by regulators, such as the FRBNY, NYDFS and FINRA.• Successfully built and led the team that designed and implemented a new data center and trading floor infrastructure in advance of an office relocation. I provided project oversight to external vendors and unionized construction crews. Everything was delivered on schedule, under budget and without any operational issues.
