I am a performance-focused IT professional with a record of providing technical, project management, and administrative expertise to optimize the performance of computers, mobile devices, and telecommunications equipment. During my career, I have seen significant advancements in technology, radical shifts in business/technology cooperatives, and constant change in technical capabilities. I have a deep understanding of different systems, software, and hardware. I believe the only way we can realize our potential is to view technology as a tool to improve the business. I believe my biggest achievement in my current role is bridging the gap between IT and various business users and stakeholders. What I love most about technology is that it’s one of a company’s most important tools for reaching long-term, strategic objectives. I love the “ah-ha” moment when especially non-technical people realize this about technology and start to imagine what can be achieved when technology is properly developed and used.Additionally, I am a strong believer in teams and building an environment of empowerment and accountability. Teams that are properly motivated and supported can achieve more than individuals checking off a list of responsibilities. As a proactive, hands-on leader, I am able to connect disparate teams of technical and non-technical users, stakeholders, and contributors to function as a single unit in resolving problems and enhancing technical operations.
