After graduating High School in 2006 I immediately joined the U.S. Army as a Healthcare Specialist (Combat Medic). I served at Fort Campbell's LaPointe Health Clinic and went through two deployments (2007-2008 Iraq, and 2010 Afghanistan) before leaving the military in 2012. Some of my military awards include a Bronze Star with Valor, a Purple Heart, and an Army Commendation medal. After receiving my bachelor's in 2014 I began working in the education field. In 2017 I was offered a position similar to my active duty job on Fort Campbell at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in the Women's Health Department. I moved over to the Army Hearing Program in 2019 and became a hearing technician. There I became DOEHRS/ CAOHC certified to conduct hearing tests for eligible patients in the DOD field. In 2020 I was promoted to the department supervisor. I am currently finishing up my MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
