Progressively advanced from managing design, development, and deployment of a diverse range of training programs to current role over learning strategy encompassing enterprise-wide training initiatives. Manage eight-member team, and built/oversee a three-member Shared Services media team. Initiated and oversaw company-wide learning analysis to gauge effectiveness of learning function and identify improvement areas as a prelude to design of new training strategy. Oversaw media production team in development of 100+ new training classes and YouTube learning content in six months. Led design/development of Company’s first informal learning initiative for a 2015 Appliance event; produced $120K design of nine videos/infographic in five-weeks, generating 200K views/high viewer evaluation scores and garnering team Learning Excellence award. Built a high-performing team, including two instructional designers recognized with Learning Excellence awards.

Advanced to a newly created role over learning strategy for six departments, a model implemented enterprise-wide and expanded to four peers based on my successes as Curricula Manager. Led design, development, and management of the learning strategy and delivery of ~400 training hours for the specialty departments with 45K total associates. Partnered with VPs, Merchants, and Operations to identify and address performance gaps. Led design/development of a $140K training program generating positive feedback from four external focus groups and associates (90%+ scores). Initiated/oversaw design of interactive social media and video-based training (“Designer’s Edge”) garnering 90% participant feedback and still in use today. Planned/orchestrated multiple vendor events (“roadshows”) deployed across 30 cities. Oversaw development/coordination of numerous virtual, TV-based, hands-on training classes. Initiated/led planning and execution of a new training model for hard-surface flooring, developing for the first time in company history e-learning content on homedepot.com designed for new associates and customers.

Managed curricula planning/design for three departments. Identified prospective training needs and formulated strategies requiring customized, in-depth training, maintaining close contact with Merchandising VPs and Merchants. Oversaw four independent contractors. Managed one of the largest training initiatives in the history of the Company, deploying 160 hours of HQ-based, instructor-led training for a major upgrade of AutoCAD-based software (2020) impacting ~4,000 personnel. Created three interactive, virtual training classes (“Virtual Roadshows) attended by 22K+ associates, receiving an overall participant rating of 4.10 (out of 5.0).
