I draft proposals and pitches designed to promote the firm and its attorneys in order to gain new clients. With the merger of Strasburger and Price and Clark Hill in 2018, I joined a global Marketing and Business Development team supporting 650 attorneys and professionals in their Business Development and Marketing efforts. As a member of the Pitches & Proposals team, my role is to manage RFP responses from initial approval stage through drafting and final submission. These include RFPs from the private and public sectors and in support of attorneys from a variety of practice areas, such as Government & Regulatory Affairs; Education & Municipal Law; Litigation; Labor & Employment; Environment, Energy & Natural Resources, Construction; and Public Finance. I also revise and update proposal content contained in the firm’s pitch and proposal software.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I created content for Strasburger’s responses to RFPs, proposals, presentations, and other major business development opportunities in collaboration with marketing colleagues and lawyers. I also oversaw the organization and development of firm marketing content, including: creating practice and industry capabilities descriptions for use in proposals and website experience lists, identifying areas requiring original content development, and providing writing and editing assistance as needed. With the merger of Strasburger & Price and Clark Hill in 2018, I joined a global Marketing and Business Development Team at an AmLaw 200 firm.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Directed and implemented public relations strategies for a variety of clients to successfully maintain their favorable public image and promote the client’s products and services to local and national audiences through media, trade shows and community events. Responsibilities included content marketing, media relations, technical writing and strategic communications counseling.Proficient in writing, editing and proofreading press releases, magazine articles, website copy, brochures, data sheets and various marketing materials. Promoted clients in diverse industries, including technology, facilities management, construction, manufacturing, transportation and logistics and non-profits.Managed media relations and editorial placement for clients, including preparing and disseminating client information to periodicals, newspapers, websites, broadcast and social media. Pitched clients to editors and successfully placed client information in local and national media outlets.
