Keith was in his early 30’s when a physical exam served as a wakeup call to make some major changes in his lifestyle, but he didn’t know where to begin. It wasn’t until he finally tried his hand at home cooking that he started to see steady and lasting improvements. Taking control of what he was eating was the key to building a sustainable healthy lifestyle. Over the next year, Keith honed his healthy cooking skills and began to work with a fitness trainer, shrinking waistline and increasing his energy level. Feeling inspired to help others improve their own lives, Keith joined forces with renowned chef and nutrition consultant Tony Sobiech to create cooksimple in 2008.We’ve eliminated the time-consuming part of cooking: the shopping, chopping, measuring, and seasoning. We provide everything in simple bags you merely open and mix with just an ingredient or two from your refrigerator. And we leave the fun and easy part— grilling, sautéing, or baking— to you!Cooksimple was sold to C&F Foods in November, 2016.

Montana Legend was sold to Westmoore Partners in 2007.Montana Legend is a specialty food products company offering premium natural Angus beef! Customers can order our natural steaks and steak-burgers via the web (www.montanalegend.com) or phone, can purchase them in natural/organic food stores throughout the country, and can enjoy them in many of the finest restaurants.Working with the founder and COO of this five year-old company based in Red Lodge, Montana, I am focused on aggressively capturing sales, establishing highly scalable marketing and business development relationships, and securing the appropriate financial resources to support our rapid growth.

Gearworks grew to 16,000 customers and was sold to Xora in 2008.Gearworks offers mobile workforce management software for customers such as FTD, Pepsi, and Roto-Rooter. The core application, etrace, runs on GPS-enabled cellphones and provides a real-time view into the location of workers and the status of their activities.As founder and CEO, my role was to develop the product concept, validate it with early customers, manage the development of the core application, recruit and build an executive team, secure key partners, sell strategic enterprise customers, and raise equity financing from individual and venture capital investors to support the firm's growth.

A custom web application business delivering enterprise solutions for Polaris, ThermoKing International, Great Clips Inc., Grow Biz International, Target, and the Kuwait Stock Exchange.

Designed, built and deployed custom software systems for property management, accounting, inventory, contact management, and business-specific applications; built a software product for non-profit volunteer management and sold to 600 organizations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
