Antibodies were used in ELISA and microarray assays and performed as well as IgGs. Immunized mice were discovered to be a superior source of antibody libraries following antigen-specific FACS sorting of lymphocytes.o Designed and constructed two novel sensor proteins• Engineered novel TNT and RDX detection platforms- TNT and RDX-specific scFv antibodies were fused to GFP and coupled with soluble luciferase for BRET assays to detect ultra-low levels of explosives in the environment.• Engineered a novel uranium detection protein- I developed a novel uranium sensor protein comprised of a circularly permutated calmodulin-GFP isoform for detection of uranium ions in the environment. -
