As the Consulting Services Manager, I oversee Thrive's consulting services which include:- Thrive's IT due diligence products- Individual consulting engagements- Outsourced CIO/CTO (IT Governance, staff management, project management, change management, DR planning, regulatory compliance) - Recurring strategic consulting meetings Working with the executive team, I am constantly evolving our consulting work products and establishing new services. As the leader of the consulting practice, I work with our team to timeline upcoming consulting engagements, perform team capacity planning and time management, as well as staff management and hiring of my team.

As one of the few Senior Network Engineers, I worked with our customers via ad-hoc engagements, and recurring strategic planning / roadmap consulting meetigns with clients. This helped them to plan, budget, and most importantly understand the business value created by undertaking IT infrastructure projects.As I grew into my role which was primarily consulting instead of project management, I helped to improve and scale our consulting products and practices. I worked with our executive team to build our IT due diligence products and formalize our ad-hoc IT engagements through capacity planning, budgeting and pricing.

As a Senior Network Engineer, I worked with clients with more complex IT systems and infrastructure environments. Additionally, I worked with our team as a project manager. The projects involved leading teams of my colleagues in implementing networking, virtualization, messaging and other diverse technology projects at client companies. These projects were tight in timelines and all involved some planned downtime. Through this experience planning and implementing infrastructure projects, I gained invaluable experience and started to do more strategic and roadmap consulting with clients. This helped them to plan, budget, and most importantly understand the business value created by undertaking IT infrastructure projects.

As a Network Engineer, I started working with customers performing IT systems and infrastructure improvements, with specializations in Microsoft Exchange messaging and VMware virtualization. As my skills advanced, and I started working on more diverse technologies I grew more naturally into a project manager and consultant. The majority of my clients were in the financial services industry and with my business acumen I quickly became a skilled project manager and consultant.
