My name is Keith Essary, I am 47 years old and am married with 3 children (Maddie Grace who is now a nurse, Noah Austin who is now working for the government , Ella Rose who is my youngest child and works at a hospital. I have a BS degree in Physical Education from Blue Mountain College. I have over 25 years of coaching experience in baseball and softball. I have coached baseball at all levels from t-ball to the Independent Professional level. While at the Independent level, I managed the White Sands Pupfish, from the Pecos League, where I led them to a 41-29 record overall and a playoff appearance in their inaugural season. I was responsible for my own player recruiting. I also helped move up over a dozen players to higher levels of play. I have a strong passion for the game and always give 100% in my efforts to be a successful coach. In my first two seasons of coaching softball at George County High School I helped lead the fast pitch to the 2nd round of the State Playoffs, while in Slow Pitch we made it to the 2nd round of the State Playoffs in 2016 and in 2017 we were the State Runners up and I was chosen as the District Coach of the Year along with Clarion Ledger Coach of the Year.In the summer of 2019 I had the honor to coach Team USA Military’s All Stars. Summer of 2021 I was a volunteer coach in the Cotton States Collegiate League, where we won the League Championship.I will approach everyday with a positive attitude and with the desire to improve my craft everyday.
