Business OwnerThe Fun Spot Feb 1981 - PresentI transformed a stand alone roller skating rink, "Skateland" as it was known in the 80's, into the premier Entertainment Center, "The Fun Spot," as it known today. I accomplished this with the strategic addition of a Nascar style go kart track, a themed adventure golf course, an all LED multi-level laser tag arena / system and a 1500 sq/ft multi- level soft playground for kids under 58" tall. To create another revenue stream, in 2010 I added a NYS Licensed After School / Summer Camp program for children called "Camp Fun Spot". In January 2014, we just completed a new addition containing 3 state of the art Day Care classrooms for children ages 3-5 and expanded our NYS license to a full day care facility. This area is connected to The Fun Spot but access is restricted to those involved with the program with a bio metric fingerprint scanner.
