I have over 20 years of experience in the U.S. Marine Corps, where I developed and executed strategies for manpower and personnel management, logistics information systems, and operational planning. My mission is to leverage my expertise in information technology, program management, and leadership to support organizations that are committed to excellence, innovation, and diversity. • 1 of 14 Marines screened and selected by Assistant Commandant of Marine Corps to be assigned to be assigned to Marine Forces Europe for the purpose of establishing a Marine Forces Africa component to a newly forming combatant command, U.S. AFRICOM in 2007. Was a plank holder and the first AC/S G-1 during the activation of MARFORAF. Planned, coordinated and executed all phased G-1 related requirements necessary to stand-up Marine Forces Africa and then as first AC/S G-1, assuming all G-1 related missions, activities and equities from MARFOREUR and the CJTF-HOA mission from MARCENT.Orchestrated the reception, staging, screening, training, and onward movement of individual Marines and forces assigned to the EUCOM/AFRICOM area of responsibility. Maintained situational awareness of the disparate personnel assignments in the EUCOM/AFRICOM AOR and provided accurate and timely historical, empirical, contingency manpower data for presentation to the Commander and Higher Headquarters. Coordinated command’s MCBUL 5400 preparation, review and response for MARFORAF activation; led hiring efforts to fill commands civilian positions prior to FOC. Developed SOPs and directives for personnel policy within the command. Developed manpower and operational point papers; capability Gap/Analysis, Reserve Policy Board submission, et.al, Reviewed all AFRICOM AOR Joint Manning Documents (JMDs). Developed MOU w/DPC Camp Lejeune to conduct PTP and RSOI for individual augments deploying to the AFRICOM AOR. Developed commands Uncompensated Review Board submissions to include Troop to task list in search of manning solutions for identified gaps.
