Executive Officer and Assistant Professor of Naval Science Atlanta Consortium consisting of:Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Morehouse CollegeNaval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Georgia Institute of TechnologyLeadership and Management InstructorSupervised NROTC Atlanta military staff in the execution of NROTC instructions, courses and training.Developed and executed strategy for Morehouse NROTC that increased accession and retention of scholarship students and resulted in the Navy holding Historically Black Colleges and Universities summit for HBCU Presidents at Morehouse to look at our program as a model for increasing retention and success of minority students across the nation. I personally developed curriculum and topics for the summit; many of the recommendations/best practices were taken back to other Naval Naval Leadership and Management Course (300 level) instructor for over 100 students at both Morehouse and Ga Tech over a period of three years. Fostered an extensive network of professionals concerned about minority accessions in the Naval Service and . Grew the Marine Platoon at Morehouse from 8 midshipmen to over 25+. Annually participated in Naval Service Training Command, scholarship selection panels in order to stay abreast of current processes and trends in NROTC accessions. Also served as President of two (2) Marine Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECEP) and Enlisted Commissioning Program (ECP) boards.
