• Analyze, interpret, and underwrite complex multifamily real estate transactions in compliance with respective agency and product guidelines (FHA/MAP).

• Perform effective underwriting and financial structuring/restructuring of 10 to 12 development projects for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program per year.
• Execute stress tests on above models to effectively mitigate risk (ex – evaluate impact of rising interest rates, falling rents, increased vacancies, etc.)
• Responsible for the monthly preparation and submission of all equity financing requests in accordance with Limited Partnership Agreements and Investor Finance Agency requirements resulting in an improved, streamlined.
• Coordinating the submission of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Final Allocation document packages in accordance with state finance agency requirements for issuance of tax Form 8609 within 120 days of project.
• Manage the construction projects’ 10% carryover allocations and cost certifications with the state financing agencies.

• Independently identify potential risks and mitigating factors that could impact the customer's ability to repay the loan.
• Analyze business/consumer financial statements, individual credit reports, calculate cash flow and balance sheet ratios as appropriate, determine appropriate risk grades, review other relevant information, and.
• Ensure the transaction adheres to various lending regulations and appropriate credit policies.
• Communicate, and sometimes negotiate; with mortgage consultant and processor regarding credit decisions and credit issues with their clients and suggest alternatives for problem resolution.
