Over the past decade, Keith has redefined the role of visual effects artists within the video game industry. His award-winning studio, Beyond-FX, has grown to support a global team of over 50 full-time employees, contributing to more than 100 AAA and indie projects worldwide as directly integrated VFX artists and craft leaders. Within his team, Keith has fostered a workplace culture centered on mentorship, career development, and positive collaboration, earning Beyond-FX the #63 spot on Fortune's Best Small Workplaces 2024 list.As a passionate speaker and educator, Keith has dedicated his career to advancing the art of visual effects. Recognized on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in 2014 and inducted into the Full Sail University Hall of Fame in 2015, he has become a leading voice in the field. In 2016, Keith founded RealtimeVFX.com to create an open platform for mentorship and education in real-time visual effects. His work in education expanded further with the launch of the GDC VFX Bootcamp in 2017, which evolved into the annual GDC VFX Summit. In 2022, Keith spearheaded the Beyond-FX VFX Apprenticeship Program, an industry-first in-studio training initiative, along with "BFX-U," a multi-formatted collection of instructional content and resources for aspiring artists. In 2024, Beyond-FX partnered with Virtuos Games, a strategic move that reinforced the studio’s commitment to fully integrated visual effects development and leadership within the video game industry.
