In the Spring of 2011, I suggested to St. Cloud photographer Joel Butkowski that starting a Photoshop User Group in St. Cloud would be a good idea. We have had meetings with some great speakers, and wonderful participation among the graphics professionals in the St. Cloud area. Adobe has been a great support to us in keeping the group active and informed. We also brought Ed Klemz of Central Coast Solutions, Inc. in as a sponsor. Ed has done a great job keeping our members up to speed on current Mac issues and advancements, and sharing his insight into trends in the graphics field. • Used Adobe Scene7 and Photoshop to crop and resize existing images for product line continuity for client’s website.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY· Propped, lit, composed and photographed office furniture/products, ranging in surface types: matte black, glossy black, chrome, stainless steel, fabric, wood, clear plastic.· Improved photo quality and incorporated ICC profiles.· Setup and lit products to be integrated into existing stock photo images.· Developed processes and procedures to create multiple angle images for object rotation.IMAGE MANAGEMENT· Processed RAW images for Art Directors, using Capture One image workflow software.· Utilized Scene 7 to upload object rotations.· Developed Photoshop actions and droplets to save production time for the Art Directors.· Used Photoshop to clip backgrounds and eliminate imperfections in the products.· Developed standards for image tagging, sizing and compression for images uploaded to website for use by Safco's customers.· Created an Excel spreadsheet to track current images, and to identify missing or mislabeled images.

Large, medium, small and digital formats.· Designed and produced web sites for various clients, working closely with them to ensure that all objectives were met.· Created online forms that are easy to understand, navigate and submit.· Created virtual reality tours using carefully photographed and stitched together segments.· Designed the Joel Whitney catalog of known images made by a mid-nineteenth century photographer. Scanned and restored clarity and detail to over 350 images.
