Brands: AND1, Avia, Nevados - Assist in sourcing, pricing, and production - Plans vendor visits to maintain and improve vendor relations-Creating and managing all calendars-Partners with Vendors and Agents to resolve issues involving purchase orders, packaging, shipping, quality, and delivery.-Audits international factories for quality control and delivery issues.-Develops sourcing strategies to improve operating margins and quality of product through working with current vendors and the development of new vendors.- Implementing systems and operations on samples, commercialization, as well as production-Frequent traveling to Asia to work directly with factories/trading companies on a multitude of issues-Quality assurance in various styles of footwear product-Helping manage and report QA/QC - Sourcing footwear across southeast Asia- Managing schedules with production and customer delivery- Logistics and warehousing for domestic/international business- Traveling to the orient to work with various factories/agents on efficiency, quality, and time management- Negotiating pricing, claims, and payment to factories - Aiding our international distributors and domestic sales force in various ways- Managing foreign warehouses in billing/allocation-overseeing logistics of goods to the USA and foreign markets- Communicate with the factories/agents on a daily basis and resolve issues.- Placing and managing production of sales sample orders-Placing and managing all production orders- allocating goods with various warehouses-approving all TOP and confirmation samples for Walmart- documenting all samples for Wal-Mart commercialization process-being liason from Wal-Mart headquarters to our factories with approvals and comments
