Unusually this includes building Central Office's and renting duct space from incumbents adding significant complexity to compressed timescales. Joined Salience as an Associate Partner and we are working in partnership with Atkins at QNBN. Consultancy roles have included OSS, Network architecture, vendor strategy for managed services. Currently driving the direction of the PMO and advising on network related product launch aspects. Previously provided a set of eTOM derivied operational processes with Deloitte's to streamline resource allocation and prioritisation of the network as it role's out across Qatar. Also as part of the role at Salience we are building cost models of the CO's and networks allowing vendor payments at a capex level and ongoing OPEX payments to be captured and forecast on a weekly basis. This was achieved by building a financial model and closely coupling this with the planning Master plan and weekly Implementation PIP updates and "As is" results as we progress giving a much higher degree of cost/ payment forecasting for cashflow and product costing. -

CeoAppium Ab Apr 2005 - Jun 2006SeMr Miller became CEO of Appium AB a leader in the application server market for Parlay, IMS/SIP, SDP and OMA based solutions to service providers worldwide. He then drove their entry into the pre-built content and media services as well as SDP and SIP/IMS markets as part of an expansion into adjacent markets allowing Appium’s class leading application platform to attack a wider range of customers and increasing the addressable market opportunity by an order of magnitude. Raised funds via VC’s and restructured the organization to deliver higher quality solutions to its channels and customers. Mr Miller personally negotiated the priming contract with Orange group for aggregation of applications into the 17 country 54M subscriber base helping position Appium as a valuable vehicle for application providers worldwide. -

Examples included the sale of one Israeli company (Estimotion Inc) to a UK one (ITIS Holdings Plc). Introduced and agreed a teaming agreement between an offshore software house (MBT) to a USA based large OSS player (Agilent) and, introduced contract sales resources across EMEA and Asia Pac to one of the top 5 OSS players. Also he worked with Huawei on the OSS side for their successful BT 21C bid introducing the concepts of partner programmes, building their initiatives in this area and leading the OSS bid into BT. ConsultantTmforum 2001 - 2005T have been involved with the TM Forum since its inception and have always taken a great interest in its scope.In late 2008 I felt that the TMForum needed to focus more on the Telco Value chain and I originated, created and chaired the TM Forum’s Value Chain Initiative across service providers, OEM’s, SI’s, IT companies, Mobile Entertainment Forum, Hollywood’s technical group ETC( http://www.etcenter.org/). The focus was to allow service providers to work with common objectives with content and media groups to agree common API’s and processes so that costs are lowered and new value added services can be delivered.Prior to the Value chain are I also championed the idea of extending the TMForum's scope into the intelligent services area for voice and data networks and built the Service Delivery Framework program (http://www.tmforum.org/ServiceDeliveryFramework/4664/home.html ) from an original idea to the largest individual programme within the TM Forum. I handed this program over when it was over 130 companies participating around the world and i am still pleased to see that it is still actively pushing the boundaries of how SDP's can proactively help Telcos engage in the mass services world beyond the basic bit pipe.

Keith grew the business through acquisitions, creating partner relations and driving a common BU strategy. He focused sales and cut costs of investments by driving the integration of five separate Divisions into one Business Unit and building a new segment based portfolio OSS sales and SI strategy across wireless, broadband access, IP and signaling.• Mr Miller agreed and completed the acquisition of Objective Systems Integrators (OSI) after less than two months for $730M( http://www.secinfo.com/dut49.55S3.d.htm ) in Jan 2001 in order to increase revenues by accelerating access into the QoS/SLA and managed services markets. The QoS/SLA revenues accounted for >35% of revenue by end 2001. • One of Keith’s major achievements at Agilent was to drive their disparate, internally competitive OSS Divisions from purely signaling link management into a segment-based portfolio via divisional rationalizations, acquisition and driving a common technology architecture.• Maintained OSS projected revenues and cut costs through 2001 while Agilent as a company halved in size through the Telco market downturn while building a new system integration strategy and sales model to win larger contracts and reposition Agilent as a strategic partner with major accounts. -
