Hello. Thanks for taking a second to learn a bit about me. I live in Southern Europe's Number 1 Mountain Destination, the Val d’Aran, home to the ski resort, Baqueira Beret.Here is a quick intro. If interested, please review my profile further to learn about what I am doing professionally.Several years after university I was living and working in northwest Montana, USA. My time was spent as a wilderness guide and an therapist. Then snowboarding entered my life.I realized I had to do something so that I could snowboard more. I quit my job and sold everything I owned except my mountaineering and snowboarding gear as well as my dog. I bought an old 1972 Volkswagen camper van with the intention of living in it for one winter in Whistler, Canada and boarding every day. That was in September 1995.To make a Long story very short: I went to Spain instead! I didn't speak Spanish and really didn't know where I was going, but was told there mountains so I "just did it".6 days after arriving to Spain I landed in this amazing unknown Mountain Valley called the Val d'Aran. The next day I met the woman of my dreams and now after nearly 20 years and a career with a successful language business I am branching out to be a key player in the internationalization of my home through tourism related projects and property sales and rental with the prestigious brand, Engel & Völkers.
