Lead a team of system engineers that developed all of the supply chain interface transactions between the Host systems and Kmart distribution centers. Additional responsibilities included leading small to medium supply chain projects involving multiple application development teams, including supporting Import, Return Goods and Yard management systems. Key contact between the business partner and the project development teams required for the overall project delivery life cycle. • Significantly reduced data errors and increase warehouse efficiency by reengineering the ASN receiving process • To become SOX compliant streamlined the vendor access of multiple applications by moving to a single vendor portal with new LDAP, TAM Groups and firewall rules. Also retired old servers by using new data sources. • Shorten the delivery time of customer orders by 2 days by in sourcing the DOT com activities • Increased the number of flow paths in the DC Network by creating an automated DC to Store Mapping process assigned at the item level

Designed and coded supply chain interface transactions that would be used between the distribution centers and host systems to track merchandise being received and shipped to the stores . Made changes to several mainframe programs to become Y2K compliant.

Responsible for corporate EDI system. Installed/upgraded EDI Gentran translator and set up all of the supply chain EDI transactions. Worked closely with high volume EDI trading partners to tailor certain transactions specifically to their requirements.
