Completed development of a secondary packaging machine for a global leader in the packaging industry with nearly $1 billion in annual sales worldwide. This prototype machine was featured at the Pack Expo Las Vegas in September 2013 . Much of the work on this project was conceptual design and team-centered brainstorming in an effort to find the best possible design for a very demanding criteria specification. This project focused on many areas including: design for manufacture, fast product changeover times, ergonomics, flexibility and long service life, high product throughput, high cycle rate, and small machine footprint.

Worked as a Senior Design Engineer for OakRiver Technology designing custom automation for medical customers.

Worked for a plastic injection molding client providing custom automation solutions for assembly and production applications. Main focuses included robot EOAT design, flexible work cells and fixtures.

Responsibilities included almost all facets of this hot melt application and web handling O.E.M. company including: Designing, detailing, building, machining, setup and operation of custom, prototype, and standard equipment. Other responsibilities included: troubleshooting and maintaining 12 CAD stations, installation of computer hardware and software, and inventory control.
