Leader I’ve identified and implemented various projects for school districts over the years. Some projects have included new student information systems, telephone systems, wiring projects for telephone and computer technologies, developing and providing training, connecting buildings by fiber optics, purchasing and deploying hundreds of computers, and various software applications.Project FacilitatorA good project leader has to have an in-depth knowledge of the product, which is where I always try to start. Then I proceed with communication to all stakeholders and ask for feedback by groups. After everyone is on the same page and using the same terminology, agendas and training sessions can be developed and implemented. I also believe there must be follow-up trainings and conversations for a project to be successful.CommunicatorI consider myself to be very personable, and my greatest strength lies in how I communicate with others. I’m a good listener, which allows me to make relevant and meaningful connections. I am able to teach technical and complicated concepts in ways others can understand. The environment I create around me allows others to feel good about asking questions, and this also helps them to share information with each other. Team PlayerAny organization that wants to achieve success needs to have employees that are team players. I am one of those individuals. I like to share ideas and concerns with colleagues.
