I later transitioned to a niche firm, shifting my focus to high-net-worth individuals and institutional rental real estate.After a decade in public accounting, I moved to a pivotal role in the finance department of the nation’s largest privately held broker-dealer/RIA. Throughout my tenure, I undertook diverse responsibilities, including spearheading tax strategies and financial planning as well as leading many of the firm’s financial analysis efforts.Following years of leading tax and financial planning initiatives, I assumed the role of Chief Accounting Officer, where I utilized my expertise to optimize operations and drive expansion. Throughout my journey from early tax responsibilities to executive leadership, I cultivated a versatile skill set indispensable for finance professionals.These skills encompass crafting three-way strategic forecasts, preparing GAAP compliant financial statements, implementing operational accounting controls, driving efficiencies, overseeing change management initiatives, tax compliance and consulting, assisting high-net-worth families, and much more. At every stage, my mission has been to empower individuals and organizations to realize their financial objectives by providing nuanced expertise and fostering collaborative partnerships across all facets of finance and personal wealth.Outside of the office, I value spending quality time with my wife and daughter, whether we're enjoying time at home or exploring new places.
