I later transitioned to a niche firm, shifting my focus to high-net-worth individuals and institutional rental real estate.After a decade in public accounting, I moved to a pivotal role in the finance department of the nation’s largest privately held broker-dealer/RIA. Throughout my tenure, I undertook diverse responsibilities, including spearheading tax strategies and financial planning as well as leading many of the firm’s financial analysis efforts.Following years of leading tax and financial planning initiatives, I assumed the role of Chief Accounting Officer, where I utilized my expertise to optimize operations and drive expansion. Throughout my journey from early tax responsibilities to executive leadership, I cultivated a versatile skill set indispensable for finance professionals.These skills encompass crafting three-way strategic forecasts, preparing GAAP compliant financial statements, implementing operational accounting controls, driving efficiencies, overseeing change management initiatives, tax compliance and consulting, assisting high-net-worth families, and much more.
