Enterprise Analytics provided clients with the expertise they needed to understand their seemingly overwhelming data. That meant that we worked with our clients to see through the hypes and drill down to their core needs. In some cases this meant that we helped our customers understand or even clarify their needs and in others we designed or built their solutions.The solutions were built on a number of different products and platforms including the IBM i2 Analysis suite. I provided expertise on client engagements, designing solution architectures for customer and partner opportunities and constantly kept an eye on the latest trends and tools available for analysis.

I provided expertise on client engagements, designing solution architectures for customer and partner opportunities as well as internal solution developments.An example is Wynyard’s OSINT solution which allows an agency to continuously process large volumes of data in multiple languages from websites, news feeds, chat rooms, blogs, and social media regarding topics of interest. The software can then automatically extract critical information such as names of people, places and organisations in multiple languages. My role also involved managing technical delivery within projects where required and developing, coordinating and delivering all aspects of customer needs. The role had overall responsibility for the pre-sales process within the region and was at the front end of the client engagement.Wynyard Group was a market leader in high consequence crime fighting and security software, used by law enforcement and national security agencies, critical infrastructure operations and major corporations.

I was responsible for Managing the implementation of OCC's ContrOCC software within Social Care Finance teams across the country including several large county councils. A large part of the role was project and client management, specifying system functionality to meet clients’ needs, overseeing data migration and configuration and consulting on business change.At OCC I attended the following courses/gained certifications:* PRINCE2 practitioner

As an Applications Consultant I was responsible for designing and delivering custom solutions. This was done by me on small-scale projects or as part of a team on larger-scale solutions. These provide customers with additional features to those provided in i2’s standard products.A large part of the role was advising clients on the configuration of their software on various platforms and guiding them through integration with other software/data sources.The role required a thorough approach to requirements gathering and we worked closely with the client IT and user departments to determine requirements and agree solutions. I very much enjoyed the customer interaction aspect of the role. Application Consultant’s were also required to support the Sales team from time to time. I enjoy the new challenges that this had and even got to perform pre-sales in i2 Australia for a month in 2010. i2 is deployed in more than 4,500 organisations in over 150 countries. I was responsible for planning and delivering Training and Consultancy on iChIS (a bespoke T-SQL database) and Microsoft products to clients around the UK. The role included writing concise training courses and respective manuals.A lot of the role was creating processes/workarounds for customers around software limitations. Clients often asked for custom reports to be built on top of iChIS to further benefit from the data held within it. I also provided over the phone database support using remote desktop connections. This part of the job required maintaining an Access database to help log support calls within the department.While at Opportunity Links I attended the following courses/gained certifications:• IITT Certification (Institute of IT Training).• MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Access.

The main part of the role was maintaining existing websites. Ensuring the accessibility, accuracy and search engine efficiency of each site was to a high standard. Occasionally there would be a need to build and develop new sites for the company.
