Rock Health is a venture fund dedicated to investing in companies working at the intersection of health and technology. My company, Kinsights, was one of Rock Health's earliest investments. After our successful exit, I was thrilled to join the Rock Health team and support other portfolio companies. I joined the company as VP of Portfolio and Operations and was promoted to COO.As COO of Rock Heath, I managed internal operations for the company and worked closely with our portfolio companies to ensure each team was connected to strategic partners and provided with the resources they needed to meet their milestones. I was always developing new ways to foster valuable relationships and knowledge-sharing within the Rock Health community.

In June 2011, Rock Health started as a digital health accelerator and welcomed its first class of startups. Our company Kinsights (known as WeSprout at the time) was a member of the first cohort and during the six month program we built the product from an idea into a functional app. We launched the product at a demo day where we pitched to an auditorium full of angel investors and venture capitalists. Beyond the first batch of startups, the Kinsights team worked out of Rock Health's office to mentor/support other accelerator classes and participate in Rock Health events. In 2014, Rock Health started a venture fund and moved away from the accelerator model, but the Kinsights team continued to be an active participant in the Rock Health community.

As a founder I wore many hats but my areas of focus were leading operations, managing partnerships, marketing, and building the original front-end foundation for the product. In December 2015, Kinsights was acquired by Care.com (NYSE: CRCM) and I joined the team for a few months before moving to Rock Health. Today, the Kinsights platform powers Care.com's parent community of 1M+ members.

The Dwight D. Eisenhower National Security Series consisted of year-long events and culminated in an annual Eisenhower National Security Conference. These events brought together prominent decision makers from national security and foreign policy organizations to discuss issues regarding global security strategy. I created multimedia and print products for the 2005 Eisenhower Conference while simultaneously developing a brand for the 2006 Eisenhower Series. These products included folders, program books, posters, video slates, signs and displays.

Responsible for updating the Space and Missile Defense Command’s interactive Command Brief CD-ROM, an extensive project created in Macromedia Director MX and used the Lingo scripting language. Created posters for several clients using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Edited videos for clients including "The Army’s Year in Photos" DVD using Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects, and Adobe Encore. Designed the "2005 Army Posture Statement" booklet using Adobe inDesign as well as a corresponding standards-compliant website for Army.mil. Worked on numerous government proposals for our company including a contract worth $100 million awarded by USSOCOM.

Created animated menus and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects and Apple's DVD Studio Pro for various clients, primarily the Discovery Channel.
