As a Lead Business and Process Architect, I am responsible for setting the direction of the PMO process improvement practice for the DPEP T&D Business Operations (Biz Ops) team. Our scope includes all Parks & Resorts in North America, Europe, and Asia. As our Business Architecture Practice Lead, I am responsible for defining standards, assuring the quality of deliverables, improving and guiding our practice, tool selection, and training in business architecture and process modeling best practices.Our primary initiative has been the Business Integration Program, integrating the formerly separate IT delivery teams into one. I created the process-centric structure for this effort, identified key roles, and performed impact analysis for multiple releases through the life of the effort. And an Enterprise Analyst, my primary customers were executives and senior leaders in Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT. It was my role to create, discover, and improve business processes across the enterprise in collaboration with partners across the company. In my time at CuraScript we delivered transformational projects for IT delivery, distribution, online sales, procurement, and finance. As a Principle Business Analyst at EPIC, I was responsible for the design and delivery of all EPIC business analysis activities. My work included deliverable design, practice direction, business development, team member coaching and mentoring, quality control, and all aspects of requirements elicitation, management, and delivery.

I was a member of Strategic Market Development Team, a select distributed team of high-potential personnel dedicated to critical business development. Our team was responsible for driving business development efforts in strategic markets and clients. The team developed the specific strategies, themes, and approaches for winning specific business opportunities, coordinated the efforts of BD teams (up to the VP level), and was responsible for project management to deliver required strategies, materials, and deliverables to drive business development. In the 8 months I was on the team we drove over $8.5 million in new business.As a Manager and Senior Management Consultant, I served as a Senior and Principle Business Analyst for a Fortune 100 entertainment company on a number of efforts. I was the chief business analyst on an e-commerce redesign project, leading a team of senior analysts. I designed an information and business architecture for an enterprise architecture team, leveraging the Zachmann architectural framework. I designed and led a quality requirements effort for a multi-threaded hybrid Agile/Waterfall enterprise development program, coordinating the gateways, deliverables, and quality standards for 11 distributed delivery teams.I coordinated training, deployment, and support efforts for a call center system deployment, supporting over 500 sales representatives. I drove the effort to define the business and delivery rules and success metrics for high-margin specialty entertainment products, coordinating the efforts of the lodging, culinary, logistic, and operational divisions.I also co-founded and led North Highland’s Business Analysis Community of Practice, dedicated to improving the company's BA practice across our offices and divisions.

I was responsible for the business analysis, requirements analysis, design, and deployment of applications developed for clients. I was the lead analyst on an effort to capture, document, and integrate all operations processes at Florida’s Turnpike, from road planning to construction to maintenance. I was also the lead business analyst, solution architect, and change control manager on a State of Mississippi project to design and deliver a custom asset management system. My work on the project rescued a failing effort and resulted in the renewal of the project contract for over $5 million revenue.

I was employed by Darden as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, and was the key IBM Domino resource on staff as well as the lead business analyst and application and solution architect. My first task was a complete audit of the Domino infrastructure. Over the course of my employment I oversaw the upgrade of the infrastructure from Version 4.6 to Version 7. I designed and implemented significant enhancements to several applications, including a major supply chain management extranet system. I introduced OOP design, traceable activity logging, DHTML, AJAX, and data exchange via XML to the Darden Domino infrastructure. I was also responsible for re-factoring a combined LotusScript and Java application that was slated for replacement. This effort saved thousands of dollars in application replacement costs.

As IBM and Groupware Practice Manager, I was responsible for all practice activities, including client relations and project management. As Lead Practice Consultant, I performed requirements elicitation and analysis, software development, design, and deployment work for clients such as Orange County, FL and Florida Power and Light. I designed and completed upgrades to custom-designed laboratory information management systems and medical information systems. I also administered client systems.

As a Senior Consultant for Ciber, I assumed software development, business requirements management, and architecture respon-sibility for a pre-hospital medical information system for Orange County, Florida. The system, under development by a vendor, was behind schedule and was poorly designed. I re-coded significant portions of the application and assumed responsibility for vendor relationship management. Under my direction, we revealed and resolved vendor issues, and the system was successfully deployed on time.I was called in to MEMC Electronic Materials to complete an engagement on which another consulting firm had failed. Over a period of just three weeks I analyzed the structure of the corporate document management system and made enhancements to both the client and browser deployments to meet company guidelines for appearance, behavior, and security.
